Biography
Mr. Olukayode G. Odufuwa, also known as Olu, is a trained epidemiologist, currently working as a vector control intervention senior study coordinator and statistician. He supports implementation and analysis of Insecticide Treated Nets (ITNs), Indoor Residual Spray (IRS), house modification and spatial repellants studies in Tanzania and abroad. Olu is actively involved in training and building local capacity at the Ifakara Health Institute (IHI), Tanzania.
Olu is an epidemiologist with keen interest in the entomology and epidemiological evaluation of vector control products, improving data collection tools, data analysis and training. His research interests are majorly on house modification tool for the control of malaria, as well as other vector control tools.
Mr. Olu is involved in the laboratory study of Yorkool and Syngenta Insecticide treated nets, experimental huts evaluation of Royal sentry, Royal Guard, Yorkool, Tsara Boost, and Veeralin Insecticide treated nets and field evaluation of Tsara LLINs, PBO ITNs, Imergard™ and Insecticide treated eave nets and Insecticide treated eave nets for house modification.
